First, next Wednesday, June 1st, I'll be presenting 50 Essential Trade Show Tips in Classic Exhibits' ongoing Fast and Furious Webinar Series. It's set for 10 am Pacific / 1 pm Eastern on Wednesday. The goal is to give a quick brush-up for experienced exhibitors who may have been on the sidelines for a couple of years and to give newbies a good place to start their planning and prep. No company pitches, just good info.

The soundtrack for this week's issue: Fastball's "All the Pain Money Can Buy." Released in 1998, the second album from Austin, Texas, spawned a couple of big hits, including 'The Way,' which hit Billboard's Top 5. In spite of several solid albums after this one, it remains their best-selling lp, going platinum. If you're looking for a good example of late-nineties power pop fantasia, this is the one.

Don't Sell at the Tradeshow: a bit contradictory? Well, no...and it depends on the situation.
