Hello ...!
Even though last week's 4th of July holiday in the USA was only one day, the fact that it happened in the middle of the week seemed to have a bigger impact than just a single day. I think a lot of people took 5-day weekends!
New stuff on the blog this week: a fun interview with
Terry Brock, a National Speaker Association Hall of Fame member. Also, some random thoughts about the tradeshow industry - and, a peek at the various elements that it takes to get tradeshow results - although producing results is not
guaranteed!
Also, a personal milestone. It was seven years ago this week that the company I worked for, Interpretive Exhibits, closed. The next week I started to work with some clients that still needed tradeshow exhibits and related products. Seven years later, I still am sometimes amazed that I'm still going. And I'm always grateful to the many clients we've served over the years, and the new ones we continue to add.
Soundtrack for this
week's newsletter is
Herb Alpert and the Tijuana Brass' Greatest Hits. So many great hits! Did you know that in 1966 Herb Alpert and TJB outsold the Beatles in the USA? Yes, they were that
big.
