Hello ...!
Thanks for joining me! In between the robocalls and spam emails which often hit tsunami levels, sometimes I am amazed that I still find time to put on blog posts, record and produce the vlog/podcast and assemble this newsletter on a regular basis. But it happens.
This week, a guest post from Sam Holzman of ZoomInfo
on tradeshow trends. Also, another look at the importance of the tradeshow follow up. Yup, once the show ends, the work related to that show is still ongoing.
And finally, I mull over lifelong learning on this week's TradeshowGuy Monday Morning Coffee. Be sure to listen in or check the show notes for this week's One Good Thing!
Soundtrack to this week's newsletter:
McCartney II. Released in May of 1980, it was recorded right before the breakup of Wings. It's an abnormal album for Paul McCartney in that it relies a lot on electronics and synthesizers. Paul did almost all of the instruments and singing,
with a little help from wife Linda. As a DJ at the time, the full album felt odd and uneven, even though a live version of the song "
Coming Up" from the album
(recorded with Wings in Glasgow) hit number one on the Billboard Hot 100. Despite its inconsistencies McCartney II has become a bit of a cult favorite. Listen to the
full album
