Hello ...!
While this is going out on Monday, Labor Day here in the USA, you may not see this until a day or so later. Hope you had a great three-day weekend! In our house, we chose to do a bunch of odds and ends around the house instead of going on the road for a mini-vacation. Although I know a LOT of people who hit the road - our street was pretty much
empty this week.
I did manage to post a TradeshowGuy Monday Morning Coffee this week where I managed to keep a straight face talking about time and space and belief systems (yeah, you'll have to check it out!).
In spite of my recent vacation to the Monterey area, I also put up a handful of blog posts, including one on how tradeshow marketing is a great competitive arena; a look at the new Gravitee light box; why you can't (really) order a
tradeshow exhibit online; and a look at the marketing aspects of the Pebble Beach concours d'elegance.
Soundtrack for this week's newsletter: probably someone you've never heard of:
Moon Martin. He's an American rockabilly-type singer that posted a few hits along the way. He wrote
"Bad Case of Loving You (Doctor,
Doctor)" which was a big hit for
Robert Palmer and
"Cadillac Walk," a decent hit by
Willy DeVille. I've been listening to the
two albums of his that I have,
"Escape from Domination" (1978) and
"Street Fever" (1980).
