Hey ...!
I sat down for a rare breakfast this past weekend with my two adult sons to catch up their lives. The most excited part of the breakfast was talking about the upcoming ski season! We all have season passes this year to
Hoodoo Ski Bowl, which is about 90 miles east of Salem. It's a place I skied at when I was a youngster and continue to log ski miles over the same old hills and moguls. Yes, we are all looking forward to a few blizzards this winter!
This week on the blog, you'll find a terrific podcast/vlog interview with
Jeff Bajorek, a sales trainer and author. We discuss sales prospecting and other bits and pieces of the sales process. Also, a quick look at what makes tradeshows work - and what makes them not work. Finally, a
guest post brings the Ultimate Checklist for planning your tradeshow booth. All good stuff.
Soundtrack for this week's newsletter is vintage reggae. In fact, it's so vintage, it really predates what you'd probably recognize as reggae. It's a collection called
First Class Rock Steady which consists mainly of the rock steady music out of Jamaica from the late 60s and early 70s. Fascinating stuff.
