Hey ...!
I'm having decaf with cream and sugar. My friend Roger thinks that people who drink decaf are weenies. He thinks those who drink any coffee with cream and sugar are weenies. When he orders coffee, it sounds like this: "I'd like a cup of your darkest blend, as black as my heart!"
Roger doesn't really have a black heart, he's
as generous as they come. But he likes the positioning statement.
Whatevs.
This week, a new tradeshow infographic on exhibit design ideas. It's a good one. Also, a blog post on how to be a great client. And finally, a new podcast/vlog interview with Chris Reimer about his book and how he launched a powerbank. Fascinating stuff, IMO.
Soundtrack to this week's newsletter is the new
Paul McCartney CD "Egypt Station." Fan or not, you have to admit that Paul has been one of the most consistent and prolific rock writers and performers in history. His new CD
took a bit to grow on me. A handful of slow piano-based ballads, and a good selection of creative mid-tempo rockers. And it got some attention as well on the charts. Egypt Station debuted on Billboard's Hot 100 album chart at number one, his first number one album since 1986's
"Tug of War." On about my fourth time through, I am really digging it.
