Hi ,
Welcome to the first full week of 2019! Glad to have you on board, whether you've been a reader for a long time, or have just found us! I really appreciate your time and I hope to keep giving you reasons to keep on coming back.
A fun podcast interview this week with BJ Enright of Tradeshow Logic. Her company is coordinating with the National Association of Broadcasters in a program called NAB Show Cares to give exhibitors a better handle on how to deal with all of the "extras" at shows, including sign rigging, material handling, and so forth. The program has been called groundbreaking. Take a listen and see what you think!
A couple of other posts since we last connected last year: some things I've learned from ten years of blogging, A guest post from Stacy Gavin with questions to ask before committing to an event. Finally, a post to help you prep your tradeshow program for the new year.
Soundtrack this week is collection of Traffic tunes called "Smiling Phases," a compilation that is pretty evenly split between the Dave Mason and Steve Winwood eras of the band. Lovely music from an often overlook band.
Oh, and since it's January 8, let's mention a handful of famous people born on this date. Lots of them, including David Bowie, Elvis Presley, Stephen Hawking, Robbie Krieger (Doors guitarist), and Kim Jong Un. Uh-huh.
