Hi ,
It's either the Snopocalypse or Snowmageddon. But the news here in Oregon have been raging about a centurymark snow dump, especially in the Seattle and Portland area. But here in Salem, a light dusting.
Still, it got me to thinking: how does the snow affect exhibit projects on a tight timeline? Will it prevent shop employees from showing up in a timely manner to complete the project? Will the snow delay delivery of the exhibit crates over the passes in southern Oregon? What happens if the crate arrives to the show site late? Can they accommodate us? I try to play that what if game and plan for all contingencies, but there's often something you don't anticipate. Snowmageddon,
indeed.
In this week's newsletter, a word or two on tradeshow crate shipping (not much about snow in this post, sorry!), a post urging you to talk to other exhibitors at shows, and a new podcast interview with Lindsay Avnik of SeeEndless.com. Fun stuff!
