Hi ,
Another week, another tradeshow.
This week (yesterday) I walked the floor of the
Northwest Foodservice Show at the Portland Expo Center. A lively but smaller show, with 100-200 exhibitors, lots of food samples, and a ton of nice people. It's normal in a show like this to see a handful of very
nice, custom-designed and built exhibits. And it's common to see a lot of scrabbled-together "what do we have in the storage closet" exhibits. I talk to 'em all. Many are there for the first time, many have come for years because of the success they have.
On the blog this week, a new podcast which is a recap of last week's
National Association of Broadcaster's 2019 Show, Also, a post with a fairly large gallery of photos of exhibits at the show. Fun! For my first time at the NAB, I loved it. Hope to go back again.
Soundtrack for this week's episode: LCD
Soundgarden's Telephantasm. It's a compilation of 20+ years of music from the band. I admit I'm not a huge fan, but I find a lot in their music to like. And rock to, for sure.
