Hi ,
Welcome to another issue of the TradeshowGuy Newsletter - thanks for subscribing and for reading! I really appreciate it.
On this week's podcast/blog, I discuss Seth Godin's The Marketing Seminar, which I'm really enjoying - and trying to keep up with. It's a ton of incredible thoughtful challenging material rolled out regularly. Over 50 lessons, discussion boards and much more. I'm learning a ton. Listen to the podcast to hear more.
Also this week: a look at BIG VIDEO at the NAB Show; asking the right questions, and a snippet and a link to an interview I recently did with NF Reads, a site that focuses on authors.
Soundtrack for this week: obscure reggae. More specifically, an Australian program I ran across called Deep Roots from the Yard, a ten-part program with a few hundred vintage reggae 45s. Most are obscure with either hand-stamped, poorly printed or even hand-printed labels (the program set came with photos of all of the labels). As a reggae fan seeing and hearing this kind of music - even knowing it exists and is being cared for and archived by other fans - is a fascinating eye-opener into a
world which most of us don't even know exists. I did find a handful of them on
YouTube here. Check it out!
