Hi ,
Time passes whether you're that aware of it or not. Autumn 2019 officially arrived yesterday the 23rd at 3:50 am Eastern Time. Winter will turn the calendar page on December 21 at 11:10 am Eastern. Many people make the observation that time seems to be going more quickly. That's not the case, of course, time is steady as a rock. And when you think about it, time is only a human construct that measures a specific length: seconds, minutes, hours, weeks, months, years, centuries, millennia.
It's your perspective that changes, not the speed at which time passes. But we all knew that, right? Value the days, weeks, months and years you're given. You will never get them back.
This week on the blog, an article about how many exhibitors move out of their comfort zone, a peek at regular exhibit price cuts on
Exhibit Design Search, an introduction to a new exhibitor organizational tool, and this week's vlog-slash-podcast which features an
interview with
The Pitch Girl Laura Allen.
Soundtrack for this week's newsletter:
The Who's classic "
Quadrophenia." It's a helluva
double album and a
wild movie. The album alone would be enough to talk about, but the movie - loosely based on the album - digs deep into the psyche of its lead character, Jimmy, a 1960s London Mod, who's life is slowly spiraling out of control. Sting makes a guest appearance as a gang leader who's day job is that of a bellboy. Yeah, great stuff.
