Hi ,
The fog has settled in over the cold morning here in the central Willamette Valley in Oregon. Winter seems just a hop, skip and a jump away, which means that I'll be waxing my skis soon. Doing the snow dance. Pulling the mittens, snow pants and coat and hat out of storage. Double-checking the ski bindings. It's all part of the routine. I've been a ski bum for over five decades. I was lucky enough to grow up a mile from a ski resort in the mountains of Central Oregon. I've skied quite a few
other places, but I still ski at the same resort where I grew up. You may be bemoaning the vanishing summer and shortening fall (so do I do an extent), but I look forward to winter. Always have, always will!
This week's issue of TradeshowGuy Newsletter offers you the following: 5 tips for finding the right tradeshow exhibitor company, 10 ways to stand out at the home show, and an interview with long-time tradeshow magician Seth Kramer (
thanks for the tip, Shep!)
Soundtrack for this week's issue:
Bill Bragg and Wilco: Mermaid Avenue. In the late 90's Wilco and Billy Bragg, with coordination of the Woody Guthrie estate, took pages and pages of Woody's lyrics and made new songs.
Apparently, as the story goes,
Woody Guthrie wrote song lyrics about like the rest of us breathe. Fascinating stuff, worth a listen.
