Hi ,
Hey, look at this! We're on the sprint to a new year. It won't be long! My thoughts are turning to skiing and long turns on wide snow fields. If you know a good snow dance, you will get my enthusiastic support to start dancing at any time!
In this week's issue, a review of Classic Exhibits' Mel White's book "What's So Funny About Trade Shows?" Also, how to stand out in a crowd, and a vlog/podcast where I reveal my newest creative attempt - and how I really had to give myself permission to start it (no, it's not done - there's a long ways to go). You'll have to listen to figure what I'm talking about.
Soundtrack for this week's issue:
U2's Greatest Hits and B-sides. In other words, a
whole lotta U2. This is a band that I loved back in the day before they became famous (a band I was in back in the 80s covered a couple of songs from U2's first album). Then they became basically the biggest band in the world and everybody bought everything they released. Which meant that they became overexposed. And to my mind, their subsequent work became a little
uneven. Still a great band, although I'm more prone to listen to their early works.
