Have you ever skied in whiteout conditions? I got to do that Saturday at Hoodoo Ski Bowl, where I've skied for decades. It was only at the top of the hill and only for about eight or ten minutes, but experiencing wind, blowing snow and absolutely zero visibility is very strange indeed. Not fun. Made it down the hill, stuck to the lower elevations the rest of the day and enjoyed fresh powder.
This week on the blog, a couple of new posts and a new podcast/vlog. One looks at the phenomenon of big (and not-so-big) companies dropping out of big shows, and then (maybe) coming back. Also, a look at some new products that we are offering to exhibitors.

Herman's Hermits Original Hits. Yes, Peter Noone and the Herman's Hermits. They were a British band, formed in 1964, and took advantage of the British Invasion which was led
by the Beatles and the Rolling Stones. Their
Wikipedia entry describes manager Harvey Lisberg's approach to promoting them as having a "simple and non-threatening clean-cut image." They topped the charts a couple of times in the US, and once in the UK.
Peter Noone was barely 16 when the band was formed. He's still out there touring!
