There were a couple of new items on the blog this week, although no video blog/podcast. That probably won't revive until early in January. Taking a brief break to refresh a bit! New this week: 5 Things to do in January before your tradeshow schedule really takes off, and 'wake up and smell the new year,' an informal assessment of 2019 and a look ahead to 2020. 

 

Soundtrack for this week's issue. Even though it's a short one, I'm listening to Sharon Jones and the Dap-Kings album "Soul of a Woman." I heard about them only a short time before Sharon passed away in 2016 at the age of 60. The band focussed on reviving the soul and funk sound of the mid-60s to the mid-70s. And they did a damn fine job.
