Hi ,
Yesterday was a day that I could easily forget. I was up early, driving into the rising sun, head for a day of skiing at Hoodoo. But a fuel truck had overturned just ahead of me, about thirty miles short of my destination, which ended up closing the highway for a couple of days. I decided to detour through Sweet Home, which would add about 90 minutes to the trip, at least. Stopped in Sweet Home at Safeway for coffee, and came back to my car, which wouldn't start. Probably a bad
starter. Waiting for the results from the dealer. Ended up getting towed 53 miles back. But - thanks to my AAA membership, I had no out of pocket expenses. So there is that.
But yeah, not fun.
But back to business today, even though it's a holiday. There's a new podcast on the blog, an interview with Bob Beverly about dealing with overwhelm at tradeshows, along with articles on gearing up for Natural Products Expo West and using tradeshows to reach markets you might otherwise have difficulty in reaching.
Soundtrack for this week's issue:
The Starlight Mints - Built on Squares. I don't know much about them, but their Wikipedia entry says they're an indie band from Norman, Oklahoma and released a handful of albums in the aughts. But no longer in business. The
music is different and creative, and worth a listen.
