Hi ,
First things first!
I"m going to have another open Zoom Room this week where you can join me and anyone else who shows up. Put it on your calendar for this Thursday, April 9th at 11 am Pacific / noon Mountain / 1 pm Central / 2 pm Eastern. Last time we did this about a dozen folks showed up and the conversation went in a lot of great directions. Last time we were cut off due to the time constraints of the basic free package. I checked the options for moving up to a paid plan, but at this
point I'm going to decline. We can still get up to 100 people in the room, but the time limit is 40 minutes, so we'll stick to that.
Put this link in your calendar for that time and join us:
This week, a couple of blog posts - trying to keep things normal around here! - and a new podcast. Blog topics include figuring out how to sell when no tradeshows are taking place, and a look at the great Medical Pods and Hand Sanitizing Stations that Classic Exhibits came up with. This week's podcast includes an interview with Heather Haigler of Switch Four, discussing the new exhibit program management software, WorkTrip.
They are also offering free access to the software through 2020 any an exhibitor of any size! Good stuff.
Soundtrack for this week's issue is going mellow. I pulled up America's collection "
Highway - 30 Years of America" and have been skimming through that.
"A Horse with No Name" was
one of the first songs I learned to play on guitar when I was a teenager and as a DJ in the mid-70s having a tune by America come up on the playlist was always a good thing.
