Hi ,
It's a struggle, dealing with the ongoing challenges of the pandemic.
I hear it from friends and relatives and from industry colleagues. It's tiring. It's unending. Fatigue has set in. Which means people are escaping in any way they can, if only for a time. A friend headed for the Oregon coast Saturday morning, only to encounter bumper-to-bumper traffic shortly after leaving Portland, prompting a decision to head back home, sit on the porch and crack open a cold one. Oregon campgrounds, usually booked weeks if not months in advance at least for
the weekends, are now nearly fully-booked for all days of the week. The getaways are packed. The city is, well, not deserted, but seems not as busy.
In this week's newsletter, links to blog posts on how to consider making your tradeshow exhibit personal; a video on time management skills, and an interview with sales trainer Jeff Bajorek in this week's TradeshowGuy Monday Morning Coffee. Take a look!
Soundtrack for this week's issue: The
Isley Brothers Greatest Hits Volume One. I was a big Isley Brothers fan in the 70s, when they seemed to dominate the radio airwaves with hits like "That Lady," "Fight the
Power," It's Your Thing," "Groove With You" and others. The band was formed in the 50s, and has seen several iterations over seven decades (!!!). Click the link for an expanded version of the album on Spotify.
