As August winds to a close, I notice a couple of things: I'm hearing from a small set of old clients (and possible new ones) about potential upcoming projects. But I also hear a lot of uncertainty. Shows are still being postponed or cancelled, while others proceed apace. Uncertainty is the watchword of the day.
Secondly, I basically took August off! Not completely, of course, because I had more Zoom calls with clients and prospects than I've had in a year and a half. And I'd posted two podcast/vlog episodes of the TradeshowGuy Monday Morning Coffee. But I haven't been blogging or creating those little short videos that I've been doing nearly on a weekly basis for months on end. Frankly, I needed a break so I took it.
And, oh yeah, I took a vacation. My buddy Rich and I went to Monterey to play golf and ogle exotic cars. But he had a horrible head cold and we ended up doing less than we normally would, even cutting the trip short by a week, but still had a good time.
