'Tis the Season for...?

Published: Wed, 12/21/11

Hi ...

'Twas the week before Christmas and all through the house..
the Tradeshow Marketing Newsletter (which has been quiet as a mouse)
came to life with a bang to provide a bit of cheer
with greetings to all, both far and near!

Okay, so I'm not Robert Frost.

But it's true the Tradeshow Marketing Newsletter, which has
been on hiatus for about three months, is crawling back to
life.

Since your week is probably as jammed as mine, let's cover
three things quickly:

1. I've been busy building a new online membership training
site for event marketers who want to use social media in
their marketing efforts.

Details early in 2012. Suffice it to say that this could be
the tool that will move you from "what do I do?" in social
media event marketing to "Let's go!"

2. Lots of great stuff still on the blog at
Tradeshowguyblog.com. Here are a few highlights of the past
couple of months, in case you haven't been there in awhile.

The Art of Engagement

Promoting Events and Tradeshows through Social Media

Setting up a Virtual Tradeshow Website

Posting Video From the Tradeshow Floor

Art of Negotiating: Knowing When to Shut Up

Podcasts:

Mike Vincent of FanFareMobile.com discusses mobile marketing

Eric Olson of RegOnline.com looks at online registration

3. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Or if you prefer,
Happy Holidays!

With that, I'll see you in 2012!

Enjoy,
