Here's a boring (but critical) topic. Are you doing this?

Hi ,

Yes. Record Keeping is the boring piece of tradeshow marketing. It's like the guy who keeps the detailed stats of baseball or football games. To most of us, we don't care so much. Winning is what's important - the how is not so important, except to a small percentage of people.

However, record keeping for all of your tradeshow is one of those things that should really be done. Whether it's you or someone else in your organization, find a way to keep track of the bits and pieces of each show.

We examine how that works in the latest Tradeshow Marketing Analysis series: Part 9: Record Keeping.

There's an additional two posts on the blog that you may find interesting, as well.

First, I sat down with Ken Newman of Magnet Productions and Andy Saks of Spark Presentations in a Google Hangout to discuss the art of the professional tradeshow presentation. After all, these two guys have been doing this for years. They know how to bring people into your booth at any tradeshow - and increase your lead count more than you thought possible.

It's a wide-ranging conversation, and one that is chock-full of things you probably didn't know, but will be glad you did, once you've listened in. Watch it here.

Finally, here's a guest post that will have you re-thinking your ideas on tradeshow booth construction Thanks to Reno Macri for Six Ways to Create a Top Custom Modular Exhibition Stand.

That's all for this time!
Cheers,
