Autumn is Rockin' - this issue is PACKED.

Hi ..

Summer's Over. I think the 90 degree days are over for 2015. I'm putting more covers on at night now. Less than 100 days left in the year.

In this issue: Check out a new custom booth; lead follow up; booth babes in the spotlight, and a link to a replay of last week's webinar on tradeshow marketing.

And, if you make it all the way through this email, a little freebie download at the end...

Let's take a look:
No Insult Intended...
No, really, I'm not calling anyone stupid. But I titled this blog post "It's the Follow Up, Stupid!" I was just harkening back to a catchphrase that was a driving force behind a successful presidential campaign from the 90s. Perhaps you remember?

In any case, it's important to remind yourself of what hangs in the balance: the success of your tradeshow marketing program. So it really is in the follow-up.

SoYoung Debuts Custom Booth at Expo East
We met Catherine Choi and her company SoYoung after she attended a Handshake.com webinar on the essentials of booth design in June. She had us design and fabricate a new booth, which made its debut at Expo East in Baltimore this month. It's a 10x10 booth which will likely eventually be expanded to a 10x20. Design by Katina at Classic Exhibits, fabrication by Classic Exhibits in Portland.

As Catherine said in a text to me on day two of the show: "...the show is hopping and the booth is fantastic! We love it and the setup was totally doable..."

Looking for Booth Babes...Again, Why?
There have been a number of articles floating around cyberspace on the usage of models in skimpy clothes as way to attract attendees to your booth. Here's why it rarely works.
Mastering Trade Shows in 10 Easy Steps: Webinar Replay
Last week I got together with the good folks at Handshake.com and did a webinar entitled "Mastering Trade Shows in 10 Easy Steps." We all had a great time, and passed out a LOT of information in a very short time.

If you didn't catch it, you're welcome to view it, or if you did partake and want to take another look or pass it on to a colleague, here's the link.
If you made it this far, thanks for reading. As a way of saying thanks, please feel free to download our latest goodie: the Tradeshowguy Follow Up Checklist. Everything you need to know when you get back to the office after the big show.

Enjoy,
