Hello ...
Here at TradeshowGuy Exhibits, we're definitely not a big player in the tradeshow exhibit world. We might even be called a boutique firm, focusing on exhibitors who want a personal touch, who like chatting about things beyond just having a great exhibit to show off at the tradeshow. We also support companies in their efforts to go beyond just the booth, and learn how important tradeshow staff training is, how important pre-show marketing is, how to best generate leads, design graphics that attract eyeballss and communicate important messages in the blink of an eye, how to make sure the sales crew follows up on the leads in a timely manner and more.

It's why I wrote the book on Tradeshow Success. It's why we do monthly webinars. It's why we work to go the distance with each and every client to make sure they feel they not only received a great value for their significant marketing investment, but to make friends and colleagues along the way.

Let's Have a Webinar...

Speaking of webinars, next week I'll be sitting down in front of the ol' computer screen with Matt Hill of The Hill Group at the other end. We'll discuss tradeshow booth staff training and how important it is to get your staff up to speed on how to best interact with visitors at the show. If you're not on our tradeshow webinar list and already getting monthly invitations to upcoming webinars, you can sign up at TradeshowGuyWebinars.com.

Client Spotlight

It's also probably worth mentioning that besides working on booth projects that involve design and fabrication for clients who want to purchase the booth, we do rentals. In fact, our most recent project is for Betterment, Inc. of NYC (you may have seen their commercials on TV!). They originally contacted me after running across the blog, and were interested in moving into tradeshow marketing. Except they had a challenge: two back-to-back shows in September, which made it impossible to use the same booth at both shows.

After considering the purchase of one booth and the rental of a second, they ended up renting booths for each show, one a 10x10 and one a 10x20. We coordinated the design, graphic production, staging, I&D, shipping and worked with them on getting show services coordinated. Renting is not always considered as a great option because it used to be thought of as limited choices, but that is certainly changing as most booths can be customized easily. Check our online rental catalog here for more.
On the Blog...

It was a somewhat lazy Labor Day this week, so after an hour riding around Salem on the bicycle, I sat down and penned a light-hearted blog post called Music-Inspired Tradeshow Blog Posts. Take a look and see what I mean.

There's also a new post that gets down to the nitty-gritty of the Care and Feeding of Tradeshow Exhibits. Given the roughness that tradeshow exhibits can be exposed to, it behooves you to do your best to take care of that exhibit and get the most for your money.

From the Archives:

In 2015, I wrote a brief post on the Number One Tradeshow Booth Staff Skill. What do you think it is?

Speaking of booth staff, here's another titled 7 Ways Your Tradeshow Booth Staff Can Sabotage a Deal.
Thanks for your time reading this - I really appreciate it.
