Hello ...

Normalcy. It's a good thing. After the last three to four weeks of web and email outages, things have been normal. There's nothing wrong with normal. I'm good with normal.

Two new posts this week on the blog, along with a new TradeshowGuy Monday Morning Coffee.

First, How to Explain a Damn Good Tradeshow Exhibit to Your Mom. No, Mom is not in the tradeshow world, so if I were to explain a good exhibit to her, this is about what I'd say.

Next, you have your typical FAQs. But this is 5 Random Tradeshow Questions and Answers. Topics include what to do when you need a Plan B (shout out to Exhibitor Mag!), social media photo posting and more.

Finally, a fun interview with video marketing specialist Lou Bortone, We take a look at what it takes to engage with your audience vie pre-recorded or live video. Check out this week's TradeshowGuy Monday Morning Coffee on video or audio. Subscribe to the audio podcast here.

From the TradeshowGuy Blog Archives:

Millennials and Tradeshows. Is there anything different you should know?

Six years ago (speaking of video), I wrote a short blog post on what it might take to post video from a tradeshow floor. Even though Flip video cameras were all the rage, and smartphone video was still somewhat young, the ideas here still hold.
