It's Monday, January 15, 2018 - Welcome!
Today is a holiday - Martin Luther King, Jr.'s birthday. While I was doing my daily walking-the-dog chore, I was reflecting that as a self-employed person, holidays come and go and barely make a ripple. I usually work right through them. Part of the territory, I guess. However, when you work for yourself, you also have the flexibility to work wherever you want, or take some time off to play or take a small vacation. So the tradeoffs are part of the deal, too. So yeah, I'm working today!
